Confined Spaces

Entry into tanks and other confined spaces by workers is necessary for many industrial operations. From experience, it is well known that entry into such confined spaces may present a hazard to the worker. This course is designed to create awareness of hazards, precautions, and the regulations associated with confined spaces; it will be especially helpful for those workers whose jobs are related to permit required confined spaces.

Confined Spaces training is required by many industries. You should check with your employer to see whether or not you need Confined Spaces training. Proof of completion is provided upon successful completion.

While all efforts have been made to ensure that the training meets regulatory requirements, site-specific hands-on training is often required to cover job site-specific training requirements. Trainees need to be taught the safe use of any equipment, chemical, or contaminants specific to their job site, as well as safe practices for entry into tanks and other confined spaces that may be encountered on the job site.
