Lockout/Tagout is a process used to help eliminate machinery or equipment that is not working properly in the workplace. This course will teach you lockout procedures and what information needs to be put onto tags. This course follows OSHA guidelines for Lockout / Tagout training.

This comprehensive course explains in detail what you need to know, emphasizes key points, and tests your knowledge retention after each module.

While all efforts have been made to ensure that the training meets regulatory requirements, site-specific hands-on training is often required to cover job site-specific training requirements. Trainees need to be taught the safe use of any equipment, chemical, or contaminants specific to their job site.

Time commitment: 1 hour.

This course will guide you through all aspects of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) system, providing you with a clear understanding of the requirements of the following guidelines:

• Guideline B: People Handling Dangerous Goods
• Guideline C: Offering for Transport of Dangerous Goods
• Guideline D: Transportation of Dangerous Goods

This comprehensive course will explain in detail what you need to know, emphasize key points, and test your knowledge retention after each module. The course has been designed to meet and exceed the Transport Canada Clear Language Regulations that set the training guidelines for TDG; so by successfully completing this course you can become compliant with Federal Regulations. This course also includes the July 2014 amendment updates. TDG training is required by law for anyone handling, offering for transport, or transporting dangerous goods.  You should check with your employer to see whether or not you need TDG training. Proof of completion is provided upon successful completion.

While all efforts have been made to ensure that the training meets regulatory requirements, site-specific hands-on training is required to cover job site-specific training requirements. Trainees need a sound knowledge of topics outlined on the Transport Canada site, and must seek renewal of their training certificates according to the Transport Canada schedule.

Time commitment:  3.5 hours.

This course will guide you through all aspects of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), from the classifications to Safety Data Sheets. This course has been designed to comply with the new Global Harmonized Systems (GHS) regulations.

WHMIS training is required by law for anyone working with or around Hazardous Materials. You should check with your employer to see whether or not you need WHMIS training. Proof of completion is provided upon successful completion.

While all efforts have been made to ensure that the training meets regulatory requirements, site-specific hands-on training is often required to cover job site-specific training requirements. Trainees need to be able to recognize hazard symbols, recognize and interpret product labels, know about GHS Regulations, and learn where to go to get more information on hazardous products.

Time commitment: 1.5 hours.

Entry into tanks and other confined spaces by workers is necessary for many industrial operations. From experience, it is well known that entry into such confined spaces may present a hazard to the worker. This course is designed to create awareness of hazards, precautions, and the regulations associated with confined spaces; it will be especially helpful for those workers whose jobs are related to permit required confined spaces.

Confined Spaces training is required by many industries. You should check with your employer to see whether or not you need Confined Spaces training. Proof of completion is provided upon successful completion.

While all efforts have been made to ensure that the training meets regulatory requirements, site-specific hands-on training is often required to cover job site-specific training requirements. Trainees need to be taught the safe use of any equipment, chemical, or contaminants specific to their job site, as well as safe practices for entry into tanks and other confined spaces that may be encountered on the job site.

Time commitment: 2 hours.

Benzene is a dangerous chemical that exposes workers to the risk of cancer and other health problems. This course provides workers with information on the properties, health hazards, OSHA regulations, and suggestions for safety measures to use with this chemical.

Benzene training is required by many industries. You should check with your employer to see whether or not you need Benzene training. Proof of completion is provided upon successful completion.

This Bloodborne Pathogens course will guide you through all aspects of bloodborne pathogens, from types of diseases to protective measures. This course explains in detail what you need to know, emphasizes key points, and tests your knowledge retention after each module. Designed to meet and exceed Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines, this course can improve your knowledge of an often-overlooked part of workplace safety.

You should check with your employer to see whether or not you need Bloodborne Pathogen training. Proof of completion is provided upon successful completion.
